It is with great regret that I announce today my resignation as a member of the National-Liberal Alliance, effective immediately.

For the remainder oif my term as President, I will serve as an independent President, beholden to no party allegiance.

As President, I have tried to govern without the partisanship and rancor that sometimes democracies see in their midst. I will continue to serve as a good President for all Aldurians, no matter what party they belong to.

I also wish to confirm that I will not run for re-election in the upcoming presidential elections.

I am enormously proud of the work I have done as President and of the working relationship I have with a government from another party. We took stances that were brave and strong, all in the purpose of building a better Alduria for everyone.
