- President Alejandro Campos and First Lady Fatima Campos met with Mr. Alfonso Velez and confirmed the creation of a coalition government led by the Liberty and Democracy Party and supported by the New Center.
- Prime Minister Natalia Cotilla was received by the President and the First Lady, where she confirmed that her Government is now a caretaker Government and that her and the Cabinet resign, to be immediately effective upon the appointment of the new Government.
