The Department of Finance and Commerce serves as the treasury of the Aldurian government. It manages government revenues, prints all paper currency, and mints all coins in circulation through the Aldurian Mint. It also collects all taxes through the Aldurian Revenue Service; manages government debt instruments; licenses and supervises banks and thrift institutions, and advises the legislative and executive branches on matters of fiscal policy.

The Department of Justice is responsible for the enforcement of the law and administration of justice in Alduria. It includes Directorate of Public Security, which manages and administers the National Police, the Office for Protection and Counterterrorism, the National Office of Investigation, and the National Tactical Police Units. The department is responsible for investigating instances of financial fraud, representing the Aldurian government in legal matters, and running the national prison system.

The Department of Interior is a complex department, charged many different functions of the internal governance of Altus. It is mainly concerned with the matters of citizenship, immigration, civil status including legal names, elections, referendums, and popular petitions as well as emergency management, the civil service, and the public lands and parks. The Department is also in charge of the national infrastructure planning and co-ordination, transport safety including investigations, land transport, civil aviation and airports, transport security, maritime transport including shipping, and the facilitation of major national infrastructure projects. Other important matters handled by the Department are the Aldurian states and municipalities, foundations, and sovereign wealth funds.
