IGNACIO RIVERA CHOSEN BY THE ANA TO SERVE AS INTERIM LEADER

PUNTA SANTIAGO, ALDURIA -- Ignacio Rivera has been chosen by the Aldurian National Alliance to serve as interim leader until the party chooses a new one.

Rivera is an MP from the state of Napoleon and is seen as a protege of the previous leader, Robert Beaumont. Beaumont resigned after the 1682 election, where the party saw large gains in Parliament but failed to break out of third place. Beaumont was dogged by scandal during the election, namely the revelation of an affair by Aldurian tabloids.
