THE INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE AGREEMENTS ACT, 1675

An Act to ensure and secure the national interest of the Republic of Alduria with respect to international executive agreements with which the Republic of Alduria is a party to, among other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED by the duly elected Parliament of the Republic of Alduria assembled, -
Article 1. Citation.
  1. This Act shall be officially cited as the International Executive Agreements Act, 1675.
  2. This Act shall apply to the entirety of the Republic of Alduria.
Article 2International Executive Agreements
  1. The Secretary of State shall securely transmit to Parliament the text of any international agreement, including treaties, to which the Aldurian Republic is a party, or is intended to be a party, as soon as such agreement has been concluded, or no later than seven days after the draft of such international agreement has been received by the Secretary of State. 
  2. In the event that disclosure of such international executive agreement or draft agreement would be prejudicial to the interests or national security of the Republic, such agreements may be divulged in executive session and under the strictest secrecy, until otherwise lifted by the President.
Article 3Commencement, Severability.
  1. This act shall not become law until it has received proper constitutional approval.
  2. The provisions of this act are severable. If any part of this act is declared invalid or unconstitutional, that declaration shall not affect the part which remains.
