Statement on the fall of the Coalition

Thank you for being here, I have a brief statement in regards to the recent political developments.

I want to see the principles that the Aldurian National Alliance upholds to succeed. Faith in our institutions, faith in God, preserving the nuclear family, and above all, building a country that is safe, stable, and secure. With the governing coalition coming undone, this provides me and the ANA with a chance to express what's at stake as we move forward.

Alduria is more than just a corner of Eura. I'm not fighting just for one thing, or for one party, or for one campaign. I want to be able to look at my children and our grandchildren in the face and tell them that I did everything I could to leave a better Alduria to them.

Alduria is a beacon of strength and freedom in this continent. Alduria is an ideal, a powerful and simple idea. Society matters. The individual matters. Our families matter. And for much of our nation's history, we've seen that government, whether led by a libertine or a libertine propped by socialists, wants to advance only its interests and those of no one else. They decree and we obey. The Aldurian National Alliance is vehemently opposed to that.

We stand here today a nation divided, at war abroad. The religious rancor and the partisan rancors are tearing Alduria apart and citizens are furious, rightly furious, at a political establishment that cynically breaks its promises and that ignores the will of the people. All of this while this government is content allowing the Verionist designs and plots to advance on our own doorstep.

We have to do better. We must do better.

The Prime Minister has asked me to prop up his government with the support of the Aldurian National Alliance.

I have said, thanks but no thanks.

We owe the fallen heroes of West Baatharz more than that. Enough is enough.

Voters are overwhelmingly rejecting the political establishment and overwhelmingly rejecting this government. People are fed up with politicians who don’t listen to them. Fed up with a corrupt system that benefits the elites instead of working men and women. We deserve an immigration system that puts Alduria first. We deserve a military that is second to none, making Alduria a strong partner in the Raspur Pact, but above all, a freer and more prosperous nation. We deserve an education system that works for all, not some lassiez-faire approach that leads to children not realizing their potential. We deserve a health care system that offers Aldurians a range of public and private options for them to make their own decisions about their own care. We need a government that is proactive, a government that acts when terrorists attack and kill faithful Aldurians in their churches. We deserve trade policies that put the interests of Alduria over global interests. And if we stand together, our future will be brighter. 

We can do this.

I call upon the President to call a general election immediately.

Our country cannot stand idly by as the Prime Minister and his Socialist enablers wake up only when it is most convenient to them.

The Aldurian National Alliance stands ready to lead, to be responsive, and to lead a government in the national interest, for Aldurians, by Aldurians.
