OOC: Stepping in as Seydlitz to kick this off.

The President calls the meeting to order, raps the gavel two times.

Quote:"Order! Order!"

"We begin this session by opening the floor to nominations for Speaker of this Parliament. The role is important - pause to consider that the Speaker shall ascend to the Presidency in case of the incapacitation of the President. A judicious and able person is needed for this role."

"The floor shall be now open to nominations."

Mr. President,

I nominate Maria Rejo. Speaker Rejo has been a diligent and judicious speaker throughout the history of the Aldurian Parliament. I believe we should continue to afford her the opportunity to serve the Republic as Speaker of Parliament.
