NOTES
  • The shock of a Zimmer and DSP win, demoralizing scandals during the election, and the ensuing resignation of Robert Beaumont as leader has led to many ANA voters crossing over to the LDP. The allure of Official Opposition status has attracted voters and affirmed the LDP as the only vehicle to effectively oppose the DSP in Parliament. A smaller amount of ANA voters, especially those who are economically in the populist left, have left to the DSP.
  • Independents are also beginning to break largely towards the LDP as well as they grow concerned by the hard left agenda of the Zimmer government. There's also a smaller share of the independent defectors also moving towards the DSP, particularly compelled to by the education and health care planks of the Zimmer agenda.
  • While many items in the Zimmer agenda individually are very popular, his administration has been defined by their silence as the markets fret over their agenda and offer no counter-message or any action to reassure the markets.
